The Alliance for Cape Fear Trees

The lifeblood of the Alliance is its volunteers. Our volunteers help us plant trees, give away trees, care for trees, and educate and advocate for trees.

Advocacy Committee:
Works to influence public policy that impacts ACFT’s mission, engaging local residents and serving as a voice related to development, ordinances and the urban canopy. Email Chair Laura McCabe.

Tree Plantings/Distributions:
Tree plantings and distributions continue to be the cornerstone of ACFT. This committee helps plan and execute these events. Email Chair Bob Elkins.

Volunteer Engagement:
Help recruit, communicate and assign volunteers for tree distributions, tree plantings and community outreach. Email info@acftrees.org.
